When Pankaj Tripathi hardly got to see ‘money’, said – ‘I don’t think I will be able to buy a fancy car’

Pankaj Tripathi (Pankaj Tripathi) used to hardly see money in his childhood. The actor told in a recent interview that he will never be able to buy a huge loan, a fancy car or a big house. Viewers can see them in ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, ‘Raavan’, ‘Dabangg 2’, ‘Singham Returns’, ‘Fukrey’, ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, ‘Newton’, ‘Stree’, ‘Ludo’, ‘Mimi’, ‘Gunjan’. Saxena’ and ‘Bachchan Pandey’.

Pankaj got a lot of popularity from the web series ‘Mirzapur’, in which he played the lead role. In an interview to Times of India, Pankaj said, ‘I come from a humble background. My wife and I may have been in Mumbai for many years, but we never felt the need to have a glitzy lifestyle. I don’t think I can ever take a huge loan to buy a fancy car or a big house.

He also told, ‘I am the son of a farmer and grew up in a remote village in Bihar. We could barely see the money. My parents didn’t even have a TV at home. I have grown up understanding the value of money. I don’t think my outlook on material prosperity will change anytime soon. I believe that to be happy in life, you do not need much money. I always try to be happy with what I have.

The days of struggle were told in ‘KBC 13’
Pankaj shared his struggle days with host Amitabh Bachchan in an episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 13’ last year. He had said, ‘I came to Mumbai in the year 2004 and worked in ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ in 2012. Nobody knew what I was doing for eight years. When people ask me, ‘How were your days of struggle’, then I realize ‘Oh, those were my struggle days?’

Pankaj got wife’s support during the days of struggle
Pankaj Tripathi Said further, ‘At that time, I did not know that it was a difficult period. I didn’t feel the difficulty, because my wife taught the kids, our needs were limited, we lived in a small house and she earned money, so I lived easily. Because of my wife, I didn’t have to sleep at Andheri station during my struggling days.
