Vivek Agnihotri took a jibe at Akshay Kumar for ‘The Kashmir Files’, said – ‘I had to speak in compulsion’

Vivek Agnihotri The Kashmir Files is one of the most successful films in the history of Indian cinema. Made in a small budget, the film earned more than Rs 275 crore. Something that no trade analyst expected. The mountain was seen in front of big budget films like ‘The Kashmir Files’ Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bachchan Pandey’. From the audience to the film critics, the film was praised. Not only this, many celebs also supported the film and said through Twitter that how beautifully it has been made and how close this film is to the truth.

One of the stars who spoke in support of ‘The Kashmir Files’ was also Akshay Kumar. However, director Vivek Agnihotri feels that Akshay has compulsively praised the film. While talking to RJ Raunak, Vivek said that his film did not get much support from the industry. When he pointed out that Akshay Kumar spoke in favor of the film.

On this Vivek Agnihotri said, “What will he say now in compulsion, when 100 people will stand in front, ask questions about Kashmir files. ‘Your film didn’t work and it went on’ so what can you say? That was when I was in a function, had to speak in Bhopal. One man didn’t message me…everyone goes to promote their film and ask media people about Kashmir files. So they have to say something under compulsion. But no one spoke anything from his mind.

Akshay praised The Kashmir Files

Akshay Kumar was at an event when he said. Akshay had said at the event, “We all have stories to tell from the country, some well-known, some untold, unheard. Like Vivek ji has put forward a very painful truth by making ‘The Kashmir Files’. This film came as such a wave which has left us all stunned. It is another matter that my picture has also been sunk.
