Vikram Vedha: The shooting of the neo-noir action thriller ‘Vikram Vedha’, starring Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte, wrapped up on Friday. The film, directed by Pushkar and Gayatri, began filming in October 2021 in various schedules in Abu Dhabi, Lucknow and Mumbai.
Hrithik Roshan said in a statement, “Becoming Vedha was unlike anything I had ever done before. I had to break the mold of being a ‘hero’ and step into the completely unemployed sector as an actor. The journey felt like I was graduating.”
Talking about the experience of filming with Hrithik and Saif, directors Pushkar and Gayatri said in a joint statement, “Shooting with the leading superstars of our country Hrithik and Saif has been a wonderful experience.”
The film is based on the Indian folk tale ‘Vikram Aur Betaal’, and is a classic action crime thriller that tells the story of a tough police officer.
Talking about his filming experience, Saif Ali Khan shared “Pushkar and Gayatri are quite a dynamic couple with great creative energy and working with them has been very rewarding.”
‘Vikram Vedha’ is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series Films and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks and Wynot Studios. Production of the film S. Shashikant and Bhushan Kumar. The film, which also stars Rohit Saraf, Yogita Bihani, Sharib Hashmi and Satyadeep Mishra, is set to hit theaters across the world on September 30.
