He says, ‘Historians should debate outside cinema halls. They should see movies like movies. Politics and religion should be avoided in them.

He further says, ‘This film tells a lot more than the valor of Prithviraj. If historians raise objections to the story or present their opinion, then I welcome it. If you do not agree with my opinion, it does not mean that you will reject it completely. History doesn’t work like this.
Wanted to make a film with Sunny Deol
Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi has returned to directing with ‘Samrat Prithviraj’. He also revealed that the film was planned with Sunny Deol. He says, ‘I wrote the story for Sunny Deol 18 years ago. They were even ready to make it, but then the market did not support it.
