Salim Khan Statement In Threat Case: Mumbai Police on Monday recorded the statement of Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan, who received a letter a day earlier that threatened the fate of the father-son duo. Police could not record the actor’s statement as he was not available after visiting Salman Khan’s house in Bandra and increasing security around the house, an official said.

B.’ Mention the infamous accused Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi. However, the police did not give any statement on this aspect. It is worth noting that Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was murdered by unidentified assailants in Punjab’s Mansa district last month. According to the local police, Lawrence Bishnoi could have been involved in the gang murder.

Mumbai Police is taking the matter seriously
Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey said he has taken “seriously” the threatening letter received by Bollywood actor Salman Khan. “It is too early to say whether the letter is fake and also we cannot say anything about Lawrence Bishnoi gang (joining).”

Salim Khan’s statement recorded
An official said that the police recorded the statement of Salim Khan and two of his bodyguards, but it could not record the statement of Salman Khan as he was not available. He said investigators have collected footage from over 200 CCTV cameras in the area to identify the man who, on Sunday, placed the threat letter on the bench at Bandra Bandstand on which Salim Khan was sitting after his morning walk.

CCTV camera was 30 meters away
The official said there was a CCTV camera 30 meters from the bench, but a tree was obstructing the view. On Monday, five Mumbai Crime Branch officials along with local police personnel went to Salman Khan’s residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra area and interacted with his family members. They stayed at the actor’s house for about an hour and then left, an official said. A case under section 506-II (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered at Bandra police station.
