New Delhi: Comedian and actor Raju Srivastav passed away after suffering a heart attack. Raju Srivastava was admitted to AIIMS Hospital in Delhi for the last 41 days. At the age of 58, Raju Srivastava breathed his last at around 10.15 on Wednesday. There is a wave of mourning in the country on his death. From Union Home Minister Amit Shah, CM Yogi Adityanath to many politicians have condoled the death of Raju Srivastava.
Raju’s passing is a big loss for the art world: Amit Shah
Union Home Minister Amit Shah condoled the death of Raju Srivastava and tweeted saying, ‘The famous comedian Raju Srivastava ji had a unique style, he impressed everyone with his amazing talent. His death is a great loss to the art world. I express my condolences to his family and fans. May God give them the strength to bear this grief. Peace peace.’
Rajnath Singh said – Raju was a lively person

What happened to Raju Srivastava
Raju Srivastava suffered a heart attack on August 10 while exercising at a hotel in Delhi. He was then admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), where he underwent ‘angioplasty’. Since then he was on ventilator and did not regain consciousness. According to official sources in the hospital, Raju Srivastava was declared dead at around 10.20 am.
How was Raju Srivastava’s career?
Raju Srivastava, who has been active in the entertainment industry since the late 1980s, gained popularity in 2005 after participating in the first season of the stand-up comedy show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’. He acted in films like ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’, ‘Baazigar’, ‘Bombay to Goa’ (remake) and ‘Aamdani Athani Kharcha Rupaiya’. He was seen in ‘Bigg Boss’ season three. He was also the President of Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council.
