Not only this, Pat Cummins scored the fastest fifty of the IPL. SRK heaped praises on Cummins for his brilliant innings and took to Instagram to express his happiness. Sharing a picture from the match, Shah Rukh wrote, “Wow again!!! KKR Riders boys!! I want to dance like Andre Russell and hug you like the whole team. Wow well done KKR and What’s more in that !!!… ‘PAT’ DIYE CHAKKE !!!”
In no time, his fans were showering posts with wishes for the actor and his team. He also expressed his desire to see the actor in the stands during the match. One user wrote, “Missed you in the stands.” Another said, ‘Shah Rukh Khan’s happiness matters the most to us. “We miss you SRK,” commented another fan.
Australian all-rounder Cummins took 14 deliveries to reach 50. He scored 56 runs in 15 balls. Cummins also equaled KL Rahul’s record of fastest IPL fifty with his innings.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is unable to attend IPL matches as he is busy with his work. The actor is currently shooting for his upcoming film ‘Pathan’. The film marks Shah Rukh’s return to films after almost four years. In this, he will be seen playing the role of a detective. Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, the film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
