Confirming this in one of his recent interviews, he talked about the film and gave his reaction on the film being a flop.
‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ was released in cinemas on August 11. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film is a Hindi remake of the 1994 Hollywood classic ‘Forrest Gump’ starring Tom Hanks. While Aamir is seen playing the role of Hanks as Lal Singh Chaddha, Mona Singh played the role of Forrest Gump’s mother as Gurpreet Kaur. In the film, Kareena Kapoor was seen in the role of Aamir’s childhood friend.
