Everyone wanted only Lataji to sing their songs, so there was always a dearth of dates, and thus people would go to any extent to celebrate them.

Also, when Waheeda Rehman comes to know that Lataji loves chocolates, she starts sending them chocolates so that Lataji agrees to do a stage show with her. Every new actress wished that someday if Lataji used to do diyas for her, then all of them would also fall in love with Lataji.”
