Karnataka Police to summon actor Shakti Kapoor’s son Siddhanth Kapoor again in drug case

The Karnataka Police, probing the drugs case involving Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor’s son Siddhanth Kapoor, will summon him for further investigation. Police say that Siddhant will be asked to appear before the police for further investigation in a week. Siddhant Kapoor is also the brother of Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor.

Police sources said on Wednesday that the notice would be sent through WhatsApp as well as a register post. Karnataka Police has arrested Siddhant Kapoor in a case of drug abuse in Bengaluru in June. They were arrested early in the morning while partying at a five star hotel within the limits of Halasuru police station. After getting the clue, the police conducted surprise raids and took 35 people into custody.

Siddhant Kapoor and others were taken into custody by a 25-member police team after conducting raids. Medical examination confirmed drug abuse by Siddhant Kapoor and after police arrested him, he has been released on bail in the police station.

During interrogation, Siddhant Kapoor had said that someone had given him a cigarette containing water and intoxicants. The police had arrested Akhil Soni, business manager of Mind Fire Solutions, Harjot Singh, an industrialist, Hani, a digital marketing entrepreneur and Akhil, a photographer, along with Siddhant Kapoor.

7 grams of MDMA crystals and 10 grams of ganja were seized after raiding the rave party organized at Siddhant Kapoor Luxury Hotel. Further investigation is on in the case.
