Ranbir Kapoor Set Catches Fire: The set of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Luv Ranjan’s upcoming film has been gutted in an accident. A massive fire broke out at an open air film studio near Andheri Sports Complex on Friday night. A person working in the industry has died in this fire. Not only this, when the flames were rising in the studio, Sunny Deol’s son was also present there.

Flames started rising in Chitrakoot studio on Friday evening. The studio was spread over 5,000 square feet, where 2 sets were set up to shoot high budget films. Suddenly thick clouds of smoke were seen coming out after which the fire brigade and rescue agencies were called. Mumbai Fire Brigade and rescue agencies kept trying to douse the fire with around 10 fire brigade vehicles. After about 4 hours of effort, the fire was brought under control and the body of 32-year-old Manish Devashi was retrieved from there.

Sunny Deol’s son Rajveer narrowly survived

Rajveer Deol, grandson of veteran actor Dharmendra and son of MP and actor Sunny Deol, was also shooting in this area. Rajshri gave the shooting news as soon as the news of the incident was received and the cast-crew was safely evacuated and sent home.
