This bungalow of BR Chopra has now been owned by ‘K Raheja Corp’, which is a property developer company. This bungalow has been bought by K Raheja Corp for Rs 182.76 crore. According to the Economic Times report, BR Chopra’s bungalow in Juhu was built in 25 thousand square feet, for which the company has paid crores of rupees.

K Raheja Corp buys property from Renu Chopra
According to the report, the company has paid a stamp duty of about Rs 11 crore for the registration of this deal that took place last month. K Raheja Corp has purchased the property from Renu Chopra, daughter-in-law of BR Chopra and wife of late filmmaker Ravi Chopra. It is being said that this property has been bought by the developers to build a housing project.

Started career as a movie journalist
Born in the year 1914, Baldev Raj Chopra i.e. BR Chopra had moved to Delhi and then to Mumbai after Partition. He started his career as a movie journalist. He started his career by writing film reviews for the Cine Herald Journal.

The first film ‘Karwah’ was made in 1949
In the year 1949, he made his first film ‘Karwah’, which was a flop. In the year 1951, he again tried his luck with the film ‘Afsana’, which proved to be a hit at the box office. After this, BR Chopra made his production house BR Films in the year 1955. His first film for this production house was ‘Naya Daur’, in which Dilip Kumar was in the lead role. BR Chopra died in 2008 at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.
